With the increase of vehicles on the road and urban space in the narrow road safety remains the cardinal concern. Consequently, designers from around the world are developing vehicles considering the future scenario in which these problems will be even more severe. A designer is Yungho Jung, who designed a car to Saab in 2025.
The concept was developed as a project to study the course of transportation design at Umeå Institute of Design – one of the great schools that prepare transportation designers. Yungho maintaining security as the main theme of the project, said that most accidents occur due to the negligence of drivers or speeding.
Therefore, the concept is to encourage and inspire participants to take active part in the movement of self-preservation. On the other hand, the body of this Saab is made of a composite flexible and can change shape depending on the situation.
